Step onto the stage with MDAC!

We’re excited to launch Melbourne Dance & Arts Centre’s inaugural Adult Performance Program!

MDAC members have the opportunity to take their dancing from the studio to the stage and be part of our performance season. With high-quality production, expressive choreography, and an electric atmosphere, it’s a fun and unforgettable performance experience you’ll treasure for years.

Our Adult Performance Program is open to everyone, whether your a seasoned performer, returning to dance or a complete beginner, there’s a place for you and we’d love for you to join us for this memorable experience! MDAC performances are always a spectacular celebration of dance, creativity and our passion for performing — and we can’t wait to share this experience with our adult members!

DECEMBER 16, 2026
CLOCKTOWER CENTRE, MOONEE PONDS

How does it work?

Members continue attending their regular weekly dance class and add a 30-minute performance choreography session either before or after their usual class. You can choose to participate in one or multiple performance programs, depending on your interests and schedule.

Example

Monday
6:15–7:15pm — Jazz [Intermediate] regular class
7:15–7:45pm — Jazz [Intermediate] Performance Choreography

By enrolling in both sessions, it will automatically register you for all classes between now and the performance. You’ll attend your regular class as well as the additional 30-minute performance choreography session.

Over 10 weeks, you’ll learn and rehearse your performance choreography before taking to the stage as part of our Adult Performance Showcase on December 16 at the Clocktower Centre.
