‘A Dance Of Light & Shadow’, examined through four separate stories, explores how opposing forces create and enlighten each other, as by their nature they are both interconnected and interdependent, and give rise to something universal.

Each story is told with its own distinct style and dance language from Commercial to Theatre Jazz, from Lyrical Ballet to Contemporary Dance Theatre. The Associate Performance Academy, supported by Under 15 & Under 18 DanceArts United students, bring a complex and varied production to life for one night only at the MDC Theatre.

The Associate Performance Academy artists present A DANCE OF LIGHT & SHADOW, a new dance theatre performance choreographed by Alfie Scalia and Daniel Ryan.

A DANCE OF LIGHT & SHADOW will be introduced by a new dance theatre performance ‘Environment Anxiety’ performed by the Junior Associates and conceived and choreographed by Jessica Fry.
